I've started my research paper survey on substrate noise. There were 301 papers found from IEEE search and I was planning to scan through and organize all of them in June. Now about 2/3 of the time passed, and I just finished 100 papers. During these 22 days in June, the total number went up from 301 to 302. I guess I need to stop being lazy. :P Interestingly that in the 100 papers that I browsed, all the research ideas and directions that I can think of are already covered! I'm wondering what will the other 202 papers talk about! There are so much out there that I don't know. This is wonderful. My learning ability is just like the fixed time-constant of a low pass filter. Although it will take infinite time my output to converge to the final value, output amplitude in the step response is still large if the stimulus is large! And if I happen to be a high-Q, under-damped filter, I will over-shoot and exceed the final settling value, and that is the point when I make my contribute to this area and get my PhD degree! So, stay excited and under-damped. ;)

At the bottom is an email that I've received. Then I checked with ebay, and they said it is not from them. I hate these people who steal things like cellphones, wallets, or identities. Don't they have a better place to use their intelligence? On my side, I think I am thankful for what I still have, and that I'm not one of them. But, I just so want to send them all to jail!! What is their problem! Finally, the PhD program started. I'm officially a longhorn. So, I'm reading technical paper to get more background knowledge and explore possible research direction. And it is slow, painful, and necessary.
It was the brothers' retreat last weekend. I didn't know that guys can be that talkative, but we were. It was so nice to hear other people's sharing and pray together. Praise the Lord that the camp was successful and I really enjoyed it!
